When I was first asked to develop a list of 12 fruits that have profit potential for India, I spent much time trying to figure out the country’s climate zones and taking into account what fruit might be native to each zone and each state. Simply making a list of fruits that I think would be good for all of India would be horticulturally impossible. Yet, part of this list has already been completed by the renowned Dr Chiranjit Parmer of Himachal Pradesh.
