Rescuing the child slave

Recently, a 13-year-old child domestic worker was rescued from the home of a flight attendant in Delhi. Beaten and taunted, she was contained like a prisoner  – locked in the house every time her employer travelled. She was rescued by the police with the help of NGOs and placed in a residential care facility.
